Yellow Fever Centre

Yellow fever is a potentially fatal virus which is spread by mosquitos, especially during the monsoon seasons in Africa and South America.

Vaccination against the virus is possible by means of a simple, single dose injection in the upper arm at least 10 days prior to travel and, once inoculated, lasts a lifetime.

Side effects are rare, although some people experience mild discomfort in the arm after the injection and occasionally headaches.

Some countries require proof of vaccination against Yellow Fever and we will supply a certificate which becomes valid 10 days after inoculation.
